UP B.Ed. JEE – Application Process, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, and Participating Institutes

The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly will be conducting the Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education (UP B.Ed.) Joint Entrance Examination, 2019. The university will be taking care of all the exam events from the application process to the counselling. The online application process has started on 11th February and will continue till 11th March. Interested candidates can apply for the exam form the official website of the Rohilkhand University.

UP B.Ed. 2019 Latest Update - MJPRU has activated the link to download the UP B.Ed. 2019 Admit card. Candidates can download from the official website using their log-in details. The University has also changed the  exam dates to 15th April 2019. Earlier, the exam dates was 11th April 2019.

UP B.Ed. JEE is a state-level exam conducted for admission of eligible candidates in Government, Government-aided, and self-financed institutes in Uttar Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria for UP B.Ed. JEE

Before applying for the entrance exam, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements. Following are the eligibility requirements for appearing in UP B.Ed. JEE:

  • Graduate (Science, Commerce, Arts) or Postgraduate degree (any discipline) with minimum 50% marks from a recognised University.
  • B.E., B.Tech. or any equivalent degree with 55% marks from a recognised institute/University.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST category must have passed any of the above-mentioned degrees. The minimum qualifying marks are not applicable to these categories.
  • Candidates who will be appearing in the final year examination of the above-mentioned degree can also apply for the exam.
  • Those having IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) certificate should ensure that the date of passing should be on or before the eligibility date. General and OBC candidates should have secured 50% marks while SC and ST category candidates should be passed.

Applications for the exam are accepted online through the official website – www.mjpru.ac.in or www.upbed2019.in. The registration link will remain active till 11th March 2019. Follow the steps provided here to complete the application process:

How to apply for UP B.Ed. 2019 JEE?

The application process can be completed in the following steps:

Registration

  • Go to the upbed2019.in and click on the link for U.P. B.Ed. 2019 JEE.
  • Click on ‘Registration for New User’ link.
  • Tick on the ‘I Agree’ option and click on the ‘Close’ button.
  • Enter the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, DOB, email ID, and mobile number.
  • Click on ‘Generate OTP’ button.
  • On successful registration, login details will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number and email ID.

Enter Personal Details

  • Log-in using the details sent to your email ID and mobile number
  • Enter the personal details asked for.

Upload Scanned Images

  • Upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature, left and right index finger impression, and documents related to reservation policies.

Enter Educational Qualification

  • Enter your qualification details. Those candidates who have appeared for the final year examination are required to enter their roll number and University name. Such candidates have to provide their UG marks for counselling.

Enter Other Details

  • Upload the certificates related to weightage claims and choose the test centres. Preview the form and check all the details carefully.
  • Submit the form and proceed to payment.

Fee Payment

  • Pay the application fee through online Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.

UP B.Ed. Application Fee

The application fee for the entrance exam can be paid through Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking.

  • For General and OBC categories – ₹ 1500
  • For SC and ST categories (UP only) – ₹ 750
  • For SC and ST categories – ₹ 1500

Print Application Form

Take a print of the fee receipt and the completed application form. Do not send the hard copy of the form to the University.

UP B.Ed. Exam Pattern -

The UP B.Ed. JEE comprises two question papers with 100 questions in each. Each question will be of 2 marks. 1/3rd marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Here is the pattern for both the question papers:

Question Paper 1 -

The paper will be of 3 hours duration and objective-type questions will be asked. The question paper will be divided into the following parts:

Part A: General Knowledge

Part B: Language Test (Hindi or English)

Part A will be compulsory for all. In part B, the candidates are required to choose a language from Hindi and English and answer the questions from that language.

Question Paper 2 -

The paper will be of 3 hours duration. The question paper will have the following parts:

Part A: General Aptitude Test

Part B: As per discipline (Science, Commerce or Arts)

 Part A will be mandatory for all. Part two will be subject-related. Candidates have to answer the questions from the subject they have selected in their online application form.

UP B.Ed. 2019 Result

As per the official schedule, the UP B.Ed. 2019 result will be declared between 10th to 15th May 2019. The result will be made available on the official website. Candidates must keep a check to stay updated.

UP B.Ed. 2019 Counselling

Rohilkhand University will be conducting the counselling process for admission to various participating institutions. The counselling process will begin on 1st June and will continue till 30th June 2019. The new academic session will begin from 1st July 2019.
