SSC Stenographer 2019 Result Declared - Check out the Number of Qualified Candidates

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result for the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ exam 2018. Qualified candidates are called for the next phase - Skill Test. Candidates who have appeared for the computer-based test held from 5th to 8th February 2019 can check their result at the official SSC website.
Steps to check the SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Result 2018
- Go to the official SSC website.
- Click on the ‘Results’ option on the top of the home-page.
- Click on the Steno ‘C’ & ‘D’ tab.
- Now, click on the PDF file link under the ‘Result’ column.
- The PDF file containing roll number and name of the qualified candidates will appear.
- Find your name on the list.
- You can take a print of the result if you want.
Marks of the Exam: Marks of the candidates will be uploaded on the official website on 19th April 2019. Candidates can check their individual marks using their log-in credentials for a period of 1 month.

Number of Qualified Candidates
A total of 9,956 candidates have provisionally qualified the CBT for appearing in the Skill Test for Steno Grade C and 12,893 for Steno Grade D. The category-wise division for the number of qualified candidates are:

Skill Test
The schedule of the skill test will be announced by the regional offices shortly. Candidates must keep a check at the regional websites.
In the skill test, candidates have to transcript a given dictation of 10 minutes in either Hindi or English at the following speed:
- 80 words per minute for Stenographer Grade D
- 100 words per minute for Stenographer Grade C
Candidates will also be tested on their knowledge of shorthand. Those who qualify the Skill Test will be called for the final stage of the recruitment process - Document Verification.
