NEET 2020 Online Application Correction Window Opened till 30th September

The online window to make corrections in the NEET 2020 application form will be available till 30th September.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again re-opened the online application correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020. The online correction procedure will be operational from 22nd to 30th September 2020. Candidates must visit the official website and check the particulars in their application form. Do the corrections wherever required.

In a recent notice, NTA mentioned “Though the medical entrance was held on 13th September 2020, however, the application is reopened considering the hardships faced by the candidates in making corrections in the online application due to COVID-19 pandemic”. Hence candidates have an opportunity to visit the official NTA website, and submit their corrected form by mentioning all the correction in the NEET online application form. One must note that the corrections can be made in the particulars in the online application form — mother’s name, father’s name, gender, category, person with disability, state code of eligibility and nationality.

Fields Available for Correction

In order to participating in NEET Correction 2020, make sure all the details in the application form are correct as per your class X certificate.

The correction can be done in the following fields:

  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Category
  • Gender
  • State code of eligibility and nationality

Correction in the particulars of the NEET UG 2020 online application forms shall be accepted up to 5 pm and submission of fee (if applicable) up to 11.50 pm. Make sure all these details are correct as they will be mentioned on your NEET 2020 scorecard.

Steps to Make Corrections in NEET 2020 Application Form

  • Go to the official website - https://ntaneet.nic.in/.
  • Click on the link for online application correction.
  • Now log-in using your user ID and password.
  • Make necessary changes in the application form, save the changes, and click the submit button.

NTA states in his recent updated notification, “last chance being provided to the candidates to make corrections in the application form. No change in the application form will be accepted through fax/ application, including e-mail etc. The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as it is the last chance of correction provided to the candidates. The candidates may also note that the e-mails sent by them earlier for correction may/ may not have been accounted for in their application form. Hence, they are requested to verify their application form very carefully and themselves as it is the last chance of correction being provided to the candidates.”

NEET 2020 Answer Key

The NEET UG 2020 answer key is expected to be released soon at the official website. Candidates will be provided with the facility to raise objections against the answer key on payment of ₹ 1000/- per question. The fee will be refunded if the challenge is found correct. The refund will be done to the same account through which payment has been made. After considering their objections, the final answer key will be updated and released along with the NEET 2020 result.

NEET 2020 Result

Candidates will be able to check their results through the official website using their login ID and password. The result will be released on the basis of the final answer key. The NEET UG 2020 result is likely to be out in the second week of October 2020. Keep visiting the official website regularly for further updates.
