Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) conducts the LIC Assistant exam for recruitment of clerical staff (customer service executive, cashier, single-window operator, etc.) in different branches of LIC all over the country. The 2019 recruitment has been conducted for approximately 80,000 vacancies. The online registration for LIC 2020 recruitment will tentatively begin from the third week of September 2020. LIC Assistant 2020 Application Process

The LIC Assistant 2020 application process will tentatively begin in the third week of September 2020. The last date for the registration process will be in the first week of October 2020. Candidates must submit the application form well before the last date of registration to avoid the last-minute rush. Here is the detailed application process for the exam.

Steps to Apply for the LIC Assistant Exam 2020

The LIC Assistant application process comprises the following steps:

  • Application Registration
  • Document Scan and Upload
  • Payment of Fees

Application Registration

  • Go to the LIC careers website.
  • The ‘Recruitment of Assistants- 2020’ link will appear on the table. Click it.
  • Click on the ‘Click here to Apply Online’ link.
  • Details such as Name, Email-ID, Contact details, etc. are asked. Enter the details correctly for completing the registration process.
  • A registration number will appear on the screen along with the success message.
  • Log-in using the registration ID and password.
  • Complete the application form with details such as parents’ name, academic details, etc.
  • Save all the details and move to the next step.

Upload Scanned Images

  • Upload the scanned images of signature, and photograph. The file size of the signature must be between 10 to 20 KB. The file size of the photograph must be between 20 to 50 KB. The scanned files must be in jpg/ .jpeg format.
  • After successful image upload, move to the fee payment step.

Payment of Fees

  • Select the mode for fee payment.
  • After successful fee payment, take a print of the confirmation page.

Application Fee Details

The LIC Assistant application fee can be paid using the Credit Card, Debit Card (Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro/ RuPay), Mobile Wallets, and Internet Banking. The application fee for different categories are as under:
