How to Calculate Scores and Cut off Marks for UGC NET?

The National Testing Agency is going to conduct the UGC NET 2020 exam from 15th to 20th June. The result for the exam is likely to be announced by 5th July 2020. The result will be declared on the official website of NTA NET. The UGC NET cut-off is released along with the result.

How to Calculate UGC NET Cut-off 2020

For students unaware of the procedure how the UGC NET 2020 cut off is calculated must go through this article. The cut off is the minimum mark that the students score to qualify the exam or to get shortlisted for any programme. Here in UGC NET, the cut off is divided into two types –

  • Subject-wise cut off marks
  • Qualifying cut off marks

Category of the candidate does play an important role in determining the qualifying marks in the National Eligibility Test. Candidates belonging to the general category must score 40%. Those who come under the reserved category (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PWD and Transgender) are required to score 35% in each paper (Paper I and II).

Hello Sir/Maám i have attended JRF NET in December 2019 Category: OBC Subject: Commerce In Paper-1 18 questions are correct so 18 x 2= 36 Marks Scored In Paper-2 39 questions are correct so 39 x 2= 78 Marks Scored Am i qualified maám?? How to calculate this cut off please do explain me?? Will wait for your reply
