School Board 10th, 12th Exam Results and Career Opportunities

March – April – May is the exam season in India. Students studying in schools, colleges and universities have got on to their toes to give their best in the exams and score high. Various school boards in the country have just concluded the 10th, 12th exams. Let’s take a look at the important school boards in India that would declare Class 10th and 12th exam results 2019 and also learn about the career opportunities after that.

2020 Board Exams Update - This year, due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the globe, many board exams have been postponed. Various boards have rescheduled the pending exams in June and July. The CBSE board has released the class X and XII result on 15th and 13th July 2020, respectively.

State Boards Result 2020

Each Indian state has its own Board of Education that sets the curriculum, conducts the exam and declares the results. Currently, the country has 52 state-sanctioned boards (it is because some states have more than just one board. For example, the state of West Bengal has 6 boards: Council of Higher Secondary Education, Board of Primary Education, State Council of Vocational Education and Training, Board of Secondary Education, Board of Madrasah Education and Council of Rabindra Open Schooling).

Almost all national, state board exams for the academic year 2019-2020 have been completed (some were postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19). Some of the boards (Uttar Paresh, Maharashtra Board, etc.) have declared the results of class X and XII examinations. Others are yet to declare the results.

Popular state boards result dates, and official websites -

Uttar Pradesh UP Board 10th, 12th results 2020 has been announced on 27th June 2020. Students can check results at www.upresults.nic.in and www.upmsp.edu.in.

Jharkhand JAC 12th Results 2020 is scheduled to be announced on 17th July 2020 and the JAC 10th result was announced on 8th July 2020. The official websites to check the results are www.jharresults.nic.in and www.jac.ac.in.

Madhya Pradesh MP 10th result 2020 was declared on 4th July 2020 and the 12th result will be allowed soon. The official websites to check the results are www.mpresults.nic.in, www.mpbse.nic.in, and www.mpbse.mponline.gov.in.

The Maharashtra Board is likely to declare the Maharashtra HSC result 2020 has been released on 16th July 2020 and SSC result 2020 will be released by the end of July 2020. The official websites are www.maharashtraeducation.com, www.mahresults.nic.in and www.results.mkcl.org.

The Board of Secondary Education Odisha will declare BSE Odisha 10th, 12th results 2020 in the third week of July 2020. Students can download their results at www.orissaresults.nic.in, www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in.

CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education -

Managed and controlled by Union Government of India, Central Board of Secondary Education, popularly known as CBSE, is the most popular school board in the country. More than 19,000 schools are affiliated to CBSE, and the Board boasts global presence with approx. 141 affiliated schools in 25 foreign countries.

CBSE 10th, 12th Exam Results and Official Websites -

The CBSE board has released the class X and XII result on 15th and 13th July 2020, respectively.

CISCE or Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination -

A non-governmental, private institution, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination or CISCE enjoys equal importance as that of CBSE. The Council is highly preferred by children who love language and arts and better with practice than theory.

CISCE-ICSE/ISC 10th, 12th Exam Results and Official Websites -

The CISCE ICSE/ISC (class 10th and 12th) exam results 2020 are announced. The results for both class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) were announced on 10th July 2020 at 3 PM.

NIOS or National Institute of Open Schooling -

Started as an open school, the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) facilitated the education in India by allowing students (both children and adults) to study remotely. This year, the Council has conducted the Secondary/ Senior Secondary practical exams in March and cancelled the theory exams due to the COVID-19 situation. The SupremeCourt has directed NIOS to declare the result for 2019-20 academic year by 7th August 2020. The result is to be declared on the basis of the assessment scheme finalised by the component committee.

Career Opportunities for Arts, Science and Commerce after 12th

For Arts –

Pursuing Arts does not bring good career opportunities – this statement is totally baseless and doesn’t hold any truth.
