CMAT 2021 Registration Process- Complete Process to Fill in the Application Form

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online application process for the CMAT 2021 exam by 23rd December 2020. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level examination that is held to select preferable candidates for the GDM (Graduate Diploma in Management), MBA and similar, PGCM & Executive PGDM programmes. The CMAT exam scores are welcomed by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved universities, colleges or institutions in India. The CMAT 2021 application process will continue till 31st January 2021 and candidates can check out the right process to fill in their application form here.

Documents required for CMAT Registration 2021

  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Graduation mark sheet
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • PWD/DA certificate (if applicable)
  • Signature of the candidate on a white paper
  • Recent passport size photo preferable against a white background

NTA CMAT 2021 Registration Process

The application process for CMAT 2021 exam has started on 23rd December 2020. The aspirants can fill the application form at the official website. The application form filling is a 5-way process –

  • Registration
  • Fill the Application Form
  • Upload Scanned Photograph and Signature
  • Pay the Examination Fee
  • Print the Confirmation Page

Let’s get into these steps of filling the CMAT 2021 application in details.

Step-1 Registration via a login setup

  • Go to the official NTA’s portal for the CMAT exam.
  • Click on the ‘Fill Application Form’ button on the home-page.
  • Click on the ‘APPLY’ button under the ‘NEW CANDIDATE REGISTRATION’ section.
  • Read the important instructions and click on the ‘Click here to Proceed’ button at the bottom of the page.
  • Enter personal details, contact details & set a password and enter the security pin. Click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button to complete the registration process.
  • On successful submission of the application form, a system-generated application number will appear on the screen.

Step-2 Filling in the Application Form

  • Go to the candidate’s log-in page again and log-in with your application number and password.
  • Fill in other details such as educational qualification, etc. and select the choices for examination centres. You can provide four choices.

Step-3 Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

Upload the scanned images of your recent photograph and signature in their prescribed column and format.

Please note - that no facility for correction in the scanned images will be provided at later stages. So, ensure that you upload the correct images.

Step-4 Application Fee payment

CMAT application fee can be paid through E-Challan/Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking. Select your preferred payment mode and complete the fee payment process.

Step-5 Print the Confirmation Page

After successful payment of the application fee, check the entire form carefully before final submission. After the final submission of the application form, take a printout of the confirmation page for future references.

CMAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for sitting in the 2021 CMAT exam.

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.
  • Candidates must have completed graduation or it’s equivalent (10+2+3) education from any recognised university or institution. Candidates in the final year of the bachelor’s degree programme whose result will be declared before the commencement of CMAT admission for the academic year 2020-21 are also eligible.

CMAT Exam Pattern and Syllabus/Topics

The Common Management Admission Test 2020 will be a CBT (Computer-Based Test) of 3 hours duration. The test will be of maximum 400 marks and questions will be asked from the sections-Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. Each section will have 25 questions making it a total of 100 questions. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer.

CMAT 2021 Exam – Essential Documents to Have

You must have the following important documents until the examination procedure comes to an end.

  • All education documents/certificates.
  • ID Proof such as Adhaar card, DL, Passport, college/school id and others.
  • Multiple copies of passport size photographs in hard copy.
  • Print the submitted application form.

CMAT Admit Card 2021

The Common Management Admission Test is scheduled to be held on 31st March 2021, and the admit cards/call letter for the same will be released on 24th March 2021. You can download the admit card from the official website of NTA at www.nta.ac.in before the examination date.

CMAT 2021 Answer Key and OMR Sheet

The answer key and recorded OMR sheets of the candidates for the CMAT 2021 exam will be made available on the official website after the exam. The exact date for the same has not been announced yet. Thus, candidates must keep a check on the official NTA CMAT website.

Candidates will also get an option to raise an objection against the answer key if they are not satisfied with the answer. For doing the same they are required to pay 1000 per question. Please note that NTA’s decision on the challenge will be final.

The final answer key will be released after the objection raising process is over. Changes, if any, will be updated in the answer key.

CMAT 2021 Result and Score Card

The CMAT 2021 result will be released tentatively by April 2021 on the basis of the final answer key. Candidates are required to download the CMAT scorecard from the official website only. No scorecard will be sent through the post.
